Band Booster News
Mr Whelan has required that all next years band members and thier parents attend a mandatory meeting on either Monday (May 12th) or Tuesday (May 13th) in the Blazer Band Room at 7 PM. Anyone who cannot attend one of these meetings needs to contact Mr Whelan.
The band boosters are having a special meeting on Tuesday, May 13th to nominate officers for next year. This meeting will be at 6 pm in the Blazer Band Room. (Prior to the above Mandatory Meeting) All parents of band members are encouraged to attend.
There will be another meeting of the Band Boosters on the 19th of May in the Blazer Cafeteria to elect officers for next year. The two meetings (the 13th and the 19th) is being done to encourage the widest possible participation by band parents.
The rummage sale scheduled for May 3rd has been canceled. There was not enough participation or material donated to justify the sale. We will try again later in the year.
The Band Boosters are selling a 2 DVD set of all the pictures taken by myself, Bernadette Dean, Ben Dean and Cortney Bowen during the 2007/2008 marching season. There is over 8 GB of data with almost 4000 pictures that cover almost every event the band participated in. This fantastic set of memories can be yours for $10. Regular meetings of the Blazer Band Parents Association are held on the second Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. in the Blazer band room. All parents are urged to attend these meetings. |
